Access keys

On every event page, there will be an ‘Access Key’ to help you know what to expect at the event. Here is what the symbols mean:

Lighting

Soft Light - the lights will not be too bright, should be ok for everyone.

Medium Light - typical indoor lighting for a public venue - may be a little bright for some.

Dark Light - it will be dark, and possibly difficult to see for some people.

Bright Light - the lights will bright, fluorescent lights, and may be uncomfortable for some.

Sound and Noise

Low Noise - the sound level should be ok for everyone.

Medium Noise - the noise might be too high for some.

Loud Noise - best avoid if you are sensitive to sound/noise.

Crowds

Not crowded - should be ok for everyone

A bit crowded - the event may be too busy for some people.

Very crowded - best avoid if you find crowds too stressful to have fun.

Wheelchair Access

Wheelchair Access- people who use wheelchairs can access the venue.

No wheelchair access - the venue is not accessible for people who use a wheelchair.

Chill Out Zone

A ‘chill out zone’ is a space you can go to get away from the event for a few minutes to relax any time you need a break. There will be fidget toys and ear defenders here.

Chill Out Zone - there will be a space you can go

No chill out zone - there will not be a separate space (there will still be a place to go with fidgets toys and ear defenders.)
